Project: 52-page booklet for the New York Council on Adoptable Children (COAC) and their “Family Circle of Support Program” serving families with children affected by HIV/AIDS.
Role: Writer/Editor, Project Manager
Oversaw all aspects of the project from conception to completion. Wrote new text, revised existing text, and edited text created by COAC staff. Identified and worked with graphic artist and printer.

Project: New York Animation Festival
Role: Festival Director, Founder and Programmer
Founded international festival of short independent film and video animation that presented more than 100 films from 20 countries. Oversaw and managed all administrative and creative aspects – including fundraising, grantwriting, corporate sponsorship, recruiting staff and volunteers, assembling festival selection committee and jury, outreach and publicity/promotion, arranging animation workshops with youth living in public housing, writing all text for printed materials (poster, brochure, and postcard).

Project: Lakeview Youth Photography Project
Role: Program Director
Established arts program for youth in public housing developments and inner city schools, including The Lakeview Project, a documentary photograph project by young people ages 9 - 14 living in the Lakeview Public Housing Development in Buffalo, NY. Secured grants and in-kind donations, recruited volunteer mentors, and arranged exhibitions in arts spaces, community centers, and public buildings.
